Planting progress…

With the help of council staff, members of the Portrush Institute recently planted 4 trees in Antrim Gardens, Portrush, as part of the Home and Garden Sub-Committee’s climate change initiative to ‘Plant a Tree for our Future’ and to celebrate 90 years of the WI in Northern Ireland!  This year, the Portrush WI members intend to supply their local council with over 200 trees for planting throughout the borough.

🌱Has your WI group been planting? If so, we’d love to see photographs of your endeavours!
