Planting Progress, Celebrating 90 Years…It’s all go on the tree front at Garvagh WI! This year, we celebrate 90 years of the Women’s Institute in Northern Ireland and the Garvagh Institute was the province’s very first, formed in 1932.
As Garvagh WI marks its own special 90th milestone, and supports the WI initiative to tackle climate change, members will be gifting their 90 trees to the first 90 babies born in the Garvagh area this year!Such a lovely gesture!
