🌱Planting Progress…

As part of the Plant a Tree for our Future campaign, Boardmills WI members bought trees for their own gardens, but the Institute also obtained a tree for each member, which were then donated to Trinity Presbyterian Church, Boardmills and Temple Golf Club.  President Agnes Black commented, “Boardmills WI had been meeting in the Church hall for the last 70 years and have met in the Golf Club for the last year, so members wanted to provide both venues with trees as a thanks to them for their assistance to us.”

🌿WI members in Institutes across the province are on a mission to plant over 8,000 trees all over the country in support of the Home and Garden Sub-Committee’s project to tackle climate change – and also to celebrate 90 years of the WI in NI in 2022!
