President Beth welcomed all to January meeting on a wintry night and was delighted to see a good turnout.
The meeting took the form of a members night.
Sympathy was past to the family of Mrs McGahan no passed away over Christmas. Mrs McGahan was a faithful and longtime member.
The Pomeroy heat of the quiz took place. Beth was quiz master.
Winners were two pairs of Mother and daughter. Olive and daughter Clare and Margaret and daughter Gillian.
Julia, Anna and Maimie did a short humorous sketch.
Olive recited a few poems.
After supper members played a very enjoyable ‘Steal the parcel game’
