The Women’s Institute is the largest non-political and non-sectarian organisation for women in Northern Ireland with some 7,000 members province-wide.
The ideals of the Women's Institute of truth, justice, tolerance and fellowship are as strong and important now in the 21st century as they were at the birth of the WI.
The WI exists to enable women to play an effective role in the community, to expand their horizons and to develop and pass on important skills.
This Website has been developed with the aim of providing information to our members and to give an insight into our organisation, our part in Northern Ireland society and our activities to visitors to our Website from around the world.
The WI enables women from all communities and backgrounds to meet regularly and participate in our activities in a friendly atmosphere. New members are particularly welcome so if you would like to visit one of our meetings (without any obligation to join) take a look at our
