AGM 2015
The Annual General Meeting took place on Thursday 26th March 2015 at the Kings Hall Conference Centre in Belfast. Hundreds of WI ladies were in attendance and enjoyed a day of reflecting on the great achievements of the WI throughout the year and catching up with friends. The new 2015-2018 Executive Members were introduced and they are all very excited for their time ahead in Office. Award winners were presented with their trophies and creative work by talented members was on display. The guest speaker was Julie Summers, author of the book ‘Jambusters’, an account of the Women’s Institute during the Second World War. Julie enthralled the audience with her presentation and she also took the time to chat to members and sign copies of her book afterwards. Overall it was a very successful and enjoyable AGM.
