Annalong WI had a beautiful evening
Our President Olive Hanna warmly welcomed all members to our November meeting held on 2nd November.
The President then introduced our guests for the evening Heather and Catherine from Country Beauty in Annalong.
With Iris being a willing volunteer from our group Heather demonstrated the cleanse, tone & moisture routine and reminded us to start with our eyes, working outwards and don’t forget our neck and décolletage.

Catherine then gave a great makeup demonstration on our beautiful volunteer Olive McC.
After getting the ladies cleansed and made up Heather reminded us of a fund raising evening being held in January at her new premises in Annalong for Macmillan.
We had a lovely supper provided by Glenda, June, Olive McC & Sylvia.
Ella Cooper was our birthday girl.
Raffle prizes were won by Glenda, Sylvia, Yvonne, Barbara & Marie.
Our Competition of the most unusual perfume bottle was won by, 1st Evelyn, 2nd Barbara, 3rd Charlotte.
We welcomed our honorary member Elizabeth tonight. And sympathies were expressed to Glenda on the passing of her mother.
We welcomed our new member Anne Wright to the group.
We finished off this delightful evening with singing of The Country Woman’s Song.

Annalong WI will next meet this Thursday 7th December with our Christmas dinner being provided by our members.
Meetings are held at 7:30pm on the first Thursday of each month in Annalong Community Centre, at Marine Park in the Village.
