In October, President Helen, welcomed two guests from 1st Bangor Presbyterian
Church. Yvonne and Joan M MBE. The speaker was Jenni who discussed the
subject of Colour, Style and Image. Jenni gave a demonstration and advised the
ladies what to wear to compliment their appearance.

The speaker was WI Vice-Chairman Irene, who discussed the structure and
functions of the WI under the heading “What’s It All About”.
Irene showed a DVD on Adelaide Hoodless, the founder of the WI in Canada
in 1897. After a question and answer session, Irene judged the competition –
