MESSAGE TO OUR LOYAL MEMBERS:

Due to the outbreak of Covid-19 and in light of recent developments in the news, WI Headquarters is now closed.

All staff members will be working from home and have moved all their equipment, computers, books, etc. to their new ‘home offices suites’ – there is lots to catch up on!  The phone lines have been transferred, so you will still get through on the usual office number, 028 90 301 506,  as well as via email, so please stay in touch:

kathleen@wini.org.uk

irene@wini.org.uk

You can also get updates on the official WI Facebook page: Women’s Institutes of Northern Ireland

The April issue of the Ulster Countrywoman magazine has been delivered and is currently being held at WI Headquarters, however, due to recent rules on social distancing and strict restrictions on travel, with only essential travel being advised, it is not possible to collect the magazines at this time.  We will update you if there are any changes, however, at present it is vital that you all stay home and stay safe.  In the mean time, the plan is to share WI content on our website and particularly our Facebook page, including snippets from the April magazine.

All Federation events have been cancelled until at least the end of April, as well as all Institute and Area meetings.

These are uncertain times and many of you have been questioning what was happening – the delay in this post is because we weren’t quite sure ourselves for a little while, but the health of both our members and staff is the priority and we have a duty of care to you all.

We will be working behind the scenes and see you all on the other side!

Stay safe everyone.
