Congratulations to Kathleen Gallagher of Culmore WI – winner of the Dorman Trophy 2021!
This Federation award is presented annually for ‘the best original article written by a WI member published in the Ulster Countrywoman magazine’. Kathleen’s winning article entitled ‘Peace at Last’ featured in our Spring ’21 issue (page 20) – an emotive, true story, made even more special as the priest in the story was Kathleen’s brother!
Kathleen is no stranger to storytelling and can be heard on BBC Radio Foyle from time to time, telling tales on The Mark Patterson Show!
Kathleen will be presented with this award at the Autumn Council Meeting in October.
