The speakers at the April meeting were Sharon Francey and Eleanor Graham who gave a most interesting talk about handbags through the ages and showed a beautiful range of “Second Bloom” bags they made from recycled clothes and textiles. Maud Bailie proposed the vote of thanks.
A detailed report on the Federation AGM was presented by Florence Hazlitt.
Debbie McKibben was awarded first place in the competition for a favorite handbag and was also the birthday girl. The ballot prize was won by Gladys Taylor.
