President Edwina Marr welcomed everyone to Members’ night in March., especially new member Jane Kilpatrick. Maud Bailie and Imelda Carville arranged the programme and introduced Lucy Bell, granddaughter of member Patricia Gilchrist. Lucy is a very talented young woman who delighted her audience with a selection of songs accompanied by guitar.
A very successful ‘bring and buy” sale was also held and a delicious supper was served by members.
Connie Rourke was the birthday girl, Lorraine Girvan won the ballot and Julia Robinson came first in the competition for a piece of jewelry with a musical theme.
