The May meeting began with a visit to the lovely Coille garden, home of John and Agnes Peacocke, in Finnebrogue demense Downpatrick. The beautiful woodland setting has many rare plants, a spring garden, courtyard and pond and a fruit garden.
The second part of the evening was hosted by Rosalind Wheeler who welcomed everyone to her home to enjoy supper and a relaxed chat in very pleasant surroundings.
The competition for an unusual flower vase was won by Sharon McVeigh and Rosalind Wheeler was the birthday girl.
