Festival Of Food & Flowers 2014

The Home & Garden Sub-Committee hosted a successful Festival of Food & Flowers in Killyman Parish Church Hall on Saturday 27th September a beautiful sunny day. The venue was excellent and the WI wish to thank the Rector and Vestry of the Church for the use of their halls and all their help in setting up the tables and chairs, and to the ladies who provided delicious scones and lunch. Members were delighted to welcome along the Mayor of Dungannon Rodger Burton who joined the ladies for lunch. Thank you to Barbara Magarry and Nora Brown for their expertise in judging the entries, they both had a difficult task in making their decisions as standards in all classes was so high. Congratulations to all the winners and well done also to everyone who entered, your support is greatly valued and it ensured that there was a wonderful display. Grateful thanks to everyone who came along in the afternoon to view the vast array of entries. Thank you to Federation Chairman Margaret Collinson for attending and presenting the trophies to all the award winners and also for her loyal support. To the members of the Home & Garden Sub-Committee, once again, thank you for your full commitment and assistance.
