Congratulations to Olive Cornett, Glenanne W.I. who won the Bank of Ireland Salver for most points in art section. Also Ann Eccleson Jerrettspass W.I. who received the Countess of Kilmorey cup for most points in Needlework crafts and the Isobel Reid cup for baking. Both these ladies are in the Gosford Area.
This year there was a new class for W.I. members entitled ”Afternoon Tea for 2” displayed on a cloth and to include sandwiches, scones and pasties with a small floral arrangement and suitable accessories. Again Ann from Jerrettspass was a very worthy winner keeping W.I. to the fore. Ann would like to thank Anne Lutton and Helen Patterrom Jerrettspass for their assistance with recipes and accessories.
Pictured is Ann and Olive being presented with their trophies from Myrna Glass, chairman of Home Industries section, who is also a member of Jerrettspass W.I. and Ann’s winning afternoon tea entry.
