On Saturday 2nd June we held our annual outing .We visited Mountstewart House and Gardens. The weather was kind to us and we were able to view the newly restored entrance hall as well as the rest of the house. Many of us had a welcome cup of tea before setting out to view the wonderful gardens or stretched our legs on one of the numerous walks. We then traveled on to Ballyblack Presbyterian Church where we were welcomed by Federation Chairman Elizabeth Warden.We enjoyed a delicious high tea served by the ladies of the congregation . President Lynne Weir wished everyone a relaxing Summer and looked forward to seeing us all back in September.
