Preparations for the next magazine – September 2020 Edition!

Ulster Countrywoman Update!

The Ulster Countrywoman is published each month from September – June, however, due to the outbreak of Covid-19, the April 2020 magazine was the last issue released just before the country went into lockdown. As the pandemic ensued, WI Headquarters had to close for a time, as did our printing company, Dorman & Sons Ltd.  Subsequently we were unable to produce a May or June issue of the Ulster Countrywoman.

As we are now emerging from lockdown, with Government regulations gradually relaxing and normality starting to return, the good news is that preparations can commence for a September 2020 edition of our beloved magazine!

The September issue will be a special ‘lockdown edition’ – a record of these crazy times, that we will be able to look back on in years to come.  WI members will have lots of interesting stories and photographs to share for this magazine, documenting the past few months.  Lockdown has been such an unusual time in our lives, a time that we will never forget, and members are encouraged to share their experiences through the magazine.

*The deadline for the submission of all WI articles to the September magazine is:

5pm, Friday 31st July 2020.

📧All content should be emailed to Caroline Hamilton:

—>Any non-WI members who would like to subscribe to the Ulster Countrywoman (subscription for September 2020 – June 2021), please email Caroline for more information.

—>All advertisements for the September magazine should be submitted to Caroline via email in PDF or jpeg format by: 5pm, Monday 3rd August 2020.

(The September magazine is due for release from 26th August)
