President Annabel Cleland welcomed everyone to our March meeting, held in Clough Old School as YFC Hall was in use. Condolences were offered to Nan Carson and Kathleen Hanna on the recent loss of their husbands. Congratulations were given to the Quoile Area Choir on their success at the Music Festival. Our speaker was Vivian Hutchinson, a consultant on Alternative Health. Vivian gave a fascinating talk on her work telling us how she assessed her clients and showed us the different herbal creams, tinctures, drops and pills she had brought with her (some of which she had formulated herself) explaining what each one could be used for. Annabel gave the vote of thanks. The Competition for a Health Tip was won by Margaret Broome with Helen Rea and Pam McDonagh second and third. The ballot was won by Vivienne Dumigan and the birthday gift by Jenifer Robinson
