Unique treat for the Erne Area W.I. members
Tamlaght W.I. President Iris Mahon, welcomed our Federation President Lady Anthony and the members of the Erne Area W.I. branches to a unique event held in a hangar at St. Angelo Airport, Enniskillen. The event…. to see for the very first time, the Air Ambulance on it’s first visit to Fermanagh. It was a fabulous occasion as most of the members had only seen the helicopter the previous evening on our N.I. News TV programme and here we all were, actually being able to touch it, to look inside the helicopter and see all of the controls etc. An unforgettable experience. Several of the Air Ambulance Trustees and Trainers were also in attendance, they gave the members an overview of the Service which they hope, will be up and running in 2017. The Tamlaght members served a delicious supper, much enjoyed by everyone present. They also held a very successful raffle, the proceeds of which were presented to Ray, one of the Trustees. Well done Tamlaght members, thank you for a superb evening.
