MARY BOYD COMPETITION 2022
As our Federation will be celebrating our 90th anniversary in 2022, the Committee decided to incorporate recycling into this competition.
Requirements:
You are tasked with repurposing a used item of clothing into something new to wear.
Examples: a scarf made from a jumper; a hat created from trousers, etc.
*Please note that it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to take a photograph of your used item prior to transformation. This MUST BE included with your entry. Unfortunately, your entry will not be accepted if this is not available.
In addition, if you wish to have your creation returned please include a note to that effect. Any entries remaining will be sold at our next International Rural Women’s Day event.
This competition is open to interpretation and we are looking for creativity and ingenuity.
Completion Date: Wednesday, 31st August 2022
All entries to be labelled with your name and Institute and left at Federation House.
