Planting Progress…
The weather was kind last Monday morning when the Mayor Councillor Billy Webb and some members of Ballyclare Women’s Institute planted 100 trees in the War Memorial Park. This was for the Queen’s Green Canopy as well as the WI initiative to ‘Plant a Tree for our Future’!
The WI in conjunction with the Woodland Trust NI will plant over 8,000 trees across the province, 300 of which will be in the ANBorough area.
