City of Belfast Autumn Fair 2012

The WI was delighted to be involved once again with the Autumn Fair on the 15th and 16th September 2012.

A competition for WI Institutes or Areas was well supported with 13 entries. These displays added to the displays of flowers, fruit and vegetables and were admired the large number of visitors to the Botanic Gardens event.

The theme was Come Celebrate and competitors had to display the following items on a card table:

A floral arrangement in a candlestick

A decorated Victoria sandwich,

Sixe pieces of shortbread.

A napkin box

A patchwork cushion
