Congratulations to Dorothy Arnold Richhill W.I. for winning Best in Show at floral art section of W.I. competition at Balmoral show. Her artistic shoe from musical High Society won 1st in class and Best in Show.
Congratulations also go to Marie Cairns Glenanne W.I. for 1st in Beauty and the Beast with an arrangement in a cup and saucer in Floral Art; Ann Eccleson Jerrettspass W.I., in the Craft Section won 1st for her rag doll from musical Guys and Dolls. Ann also got 2nd for her embroidered picture from Cats. Carole Baird Glenanne W.I. got 3rd for a beaded necklace in class Titanic.
All in all a very successful time for Gosford Area.
