Woohooo, the saplings have arrived at the various distribution points and are ready to be planted!
Pictured above are 3 of our Executive Members – Rosemary Savage (Roe Valley Area), Joan Beattie (Abercorn Area) and Teresa Feeney, Chair of the Home and Garden Sub-Committee (Londonderry Area) collecting their tree saplings to be distributed to Institute members in their Areas!
These are some of over 8,000 trees which will be planted across Northern Ireland by members of the Women’s Institute as one of this year’s projects which will celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the Federation.
