Scrabo Area Quiz 2015
A cold bleak night saw a large number of members turn out for their Annual Area Quiz in Ballysallagh Hall.
The room was cosy and welcoming thanks to the Institute. Well done ladies
Jean Blair kindly stood in for Fed.Chairman Margaret who was busy,busy entertaining guests over for the
A.G.M next day at Balmoral. Jean made an excellent Question Master with Betty Hegan acting as scorer.
Betty recorded that she had had no offers whatsoever for little peeks!!!!! Honestly.
Following 4 competitive rounds, and I mean competitive, it was Supper Time.
Needless to say it was delicious. Well done Holywood.
The final round then took place resulting in a win for Gilnahirk W.I
A most enjoyable night was had by all .Please find time to support Gilnahirk at the finals in Hillsborough
Gifts were presented by Florence ( Scrabo Area President) to the winners with lucky floor competitors also receiving
A vote of thanks was given by Jenni Munn . Jenni was wished every success as our new Executive member.
