Lisnagarvey Area One Day School
On Saturday, 12th January over 40 ladies from several institutes in the area were greeted at Federation House with a welcoming cuppa accompanied by delicious scones, this gave everyone the change to catch up on news and make new friends
After the chat everyone was keen to get started and the crafts available were Beading with Shirley Dew, Boxes with Ann Henning and Dorothy Andrews, Hardanger with Julie Uprichard and Jointed Teddies with Beth Lindsay .
Members greatly enjoyed the day crafting which was accompanied by much laughter and chat and were very proud of their achievements, a lot was learned thanks to the great tuition.
All in all it was a great day and a big ‘thank you’ goes to the tutors who shared their talents with those who were keen to learn, also to Debbie, Ann and Heather for arranging it all.
