Prior to the summer recess, members enjoyed:
May – a plant sale was held. Some Portaferry members conducted a floral art demonstration. Six beautiful, modern and easy to do at home designs were finished. The raffle was held and a winner of the small Trinket Box Competition was chosen.
September – A Trip To India & Sri Lanka – Speakers Betty L & Fiona C Competition – A Holiday Souvenir
October – Annual General Meeting – Elizabeth W Competition: Home-made spectacle Case In any Medium
November – T.B.A – Mr J J Tohill Competition: A folded napkin
December – Home-made Truffles & Sweets – Mrs June Beer Competition: A Prettily Wrapped Parcel (For MHIU)
