A good number of ladies from Gosford Area met recently in Collone Hall for a fun night of Kurling. There was much laughter and encouragement before the eventual winners emerged. Despite the teams being mixed from the different Institutes, it was congratulations to Barbara Black and Lorna George from Salter’s Grange W.I. who received a “marvellous trophy and medal”. The runners up were Rene Hutchinson, Salter’s Grange and Edith Mc Adams, Richhill W.I. who also received a “Medal”. Thank you to the ladies from Collone W.I. who assured that the hall was ready and helped to serve a welcome cup of tea.
