The Gosford Area Quiz was held recently in Drumsollen church hall, hosted by the ladies of Drumsollen W.I. This was very well supported with 9 institutes sending a team. Executive member Carole Baird welcomed everyone and then introduced Jean Mann President. After introducing the quizmaster the proceedings got under way. Congratulations to the winners from Maytown W.I. namely Barbara Windley, Sylvia Marshall, and Nelrey Webster. Runners up were Jerrettspass and Mountnorris. In conclusion Carole thanked all the teams for participating, the quiz master and Drumsolln for the delicious supper. She reminded everyone that the final will be in May and encouraged the ladies to go to support the Maytown team.
