Seaforde outing to Lissan House -June 2017

In June a party of Seaforde ladies and friends visited Lissan House in Cookstown. A lovely old house with a rich history, we were shown around by Jane, a very informative, interesting and amusing guide, who had known the previous owner personally. This house had won the Ulster heat of the Restoration TV series some years ago but had missed out on the nationwide final, coming in second. We headed into Cookstown for some lunch and then on to the Linen Green, Dungannon for the requisite retail therapy.
