President Mrs Pamela Shanks welcomed everyone to the meeting in November. The speaker was Rosemary Crawford from Tivola Jewellery. Rosemary gave an interesting talk on where the semi – precious stones came from, what they protected us from, and how we should look after our own Jewellery. The Competition was won by Pam Wells. The Birthday Girls were Shirley Shanks, Ena Moore and special birthday flowers were given to Margaret Ritchie on reaching 80 years of age and to Eileen Rooney on reaching the age of 70 during the summer.
