A minutes silence was held for Ena Davidson and past member Pamela Henshall.

Two members from the community police, Bangor gave members a very informative talk and advice on scams such as, cold calling – ask for credentials and no bank details to be giving over the phone, etc. Leaflets were left to be given out.

After which, members Andrea and Jennifer demonstrated Sugar Craft, gave us ideas for children decorating Christmas cakes and also were to buy products. Members enjoyed sampling some of the lovely finished cakes with their tea!

Competition Winners for, “A Christmas Tea towel”, 1st Pam Wells, 2nd Pamela Shanks.

Birthday girls for November, Shirley Shanks, Bell Hanna, Ena Moore, Margaret Ritchie.

Members were asked to bring Second hand Books which we will sell for 50 pence each for funds.

Eileen informed members to be at The Oaks for 7:15pm, dinner to be served 7:30pm.

The meeting was concluded with the singing of “The Country Women’s Song”, accompanied by Margaret on piano.
