At the April meeting Mrs Sally McCurry, President of Comber Flower Club, demonstrated beautiful Easter flower arrangements, passing on many useful tips to the audience. She also shared her experience of arranging flowers for the Remembrance Day services in Westminster Abbey in her role of member of the Northern Ireland group of Flower Arrangement Societies. Louise Archbold, Maud Bailie, Deirdre Ferris and Hetty Armstrong were the winners of the flower arrangements ballot.
Florence Hazlett proposed the vote of thanks.
The competition for an Easter bonnet was won by Geraldine Gray, Debbie McKibben was the birthday girl and the April ballot prize was won by Imelda Carvill.
