Killinchy Women’s Institute December 2016/ January 2017 news
Members got into the festive spirit in December by attending a Christmas concert held by the Quoile Area Choir in Magheradroll Parish Church in Ballynahinch. We were treated to an evening of songs , yarns and a lovely festive supper,which was enjoyed by all.

The January meeting took the form of the annual quiz with our President Lynne acting as quiz master.Our three winners , who will represent us at the Area Quiz are Lily Lusty, Eileen Rooney and Margaret Gibson . Jackie Bennett has agreed to represent us in the Area Bowls. After supper we took part in a beetle drive which was very enjoyable. Competition winners were Jennifer Foreman and Elizabeth Thomson.Ballot winners were Kathleen Gibson and Helen Warden. Our Birthday girls were Margaret Gibson, Maureen Marsh and Mary Morrison .
