President Annabel Cleland welcomed everyone on a cold and frosty night. Due to bad weather and sickness only one visitor had come and received a special welcome. This was our turn to have the Kurling set from HQ. It was a very entertaining evening with much laughter, banter and friendly rivalry. Some members were quite accomplished and others definitely needed more practice. We held five rounds with the winners emerging as 1st Joanne Strain: 2nd Helen Newell: 3rd Anne Liggett from Downpatrick. We all enjoyed a lovely supper provided by members
Competition for a Victorian Christmas card was won by Margaret Broome with Judith Wainwright 2nd and Cilla Green 3rd. There were a number of ballot prizes tonight, so many winners. No one present had a birthday in December.
