Seaforde Women’s Institute- March 2017 news

Posted March 21, 2017 by Quoile in Local Areas

Our March meeting opened with condolences being given to Doreen Radcliff on the death of her brother and Mavis McKinstry on the death of her son-in-law. Our speaker was Gwen Montgomery from ‘Sorted by Gwen’ who gave us some very timely tips on de-cluttering our houses. She explained why we hoard and the best ways of letting go of things we will never use. Pam McDonagh gave the vote of thanks. Congratulation were given to the Quoile Area Choir who gained two firsts and two seconds in the recent Music Festival. The competition winners for a ‘helpful hint’ were 1st Margaret Broome, 2nd Lily Smith and 3rd Helen Rea. The ballot was won by Hilda Fleming and the birthday gift by Jenifer Robinson.
